Dr. A Miller Alonso
MD
For 16 years, Dr. Alonso held two well-respected positions at St. Agnes Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD, as Chief of Plastic Surgery and President of Medical Staff. He was also Chief of Plastic Surgery at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD, until 2009. He remains actively involved in training surgical residents and medical students, and continually organizes Surgical Missions to provide free procedures and treatments to impoverished countries.
In 1992, Dr. Alonso received the “Governor’s Citation,” from Governor William D. Schaefer, for outstanding community service. He is an active member of the John Staige Davis Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and is published in the American Plastic Surgery Journal.
Dr. Alonso’s extensive experience includes the following procedures: VASER Liposuction using the Tumescent Technique (Lipoplasty), Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty), Breast Enlargement (Augmentation Mammoplasty), Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty), Breast Lift (Mastopexy), Facelift (Rhytidectomy), Eye lift (Blepharoplasty), Thigh lift (Thighplasty) and Arm Lift (Brachioplasty).
He has developed a technique to perform Breast Augmentation under local anesthesia and travels around the world teaching it, performing the procedure bi-annually.
