What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy is a personalized, natural approach to hormone replacement. It allows a patient’s body to absorb the right level of hormones at the right time, via a delivery method the body can process efficiently and that eliminates the potential for human error at the patient end.

Pellets are small capsules, about the size of a grain of rice, that contain bioidentical hormones. A bioidentical hormone is the exact molecular structure of hormones the body produces naturally.

They are inserted under the skin, where the hormones enter the bloodstream as they dissolve over several months. Our studies show that patients may see the effects of hormone optimization four weeks after a pellet insertion.

BENEFITS OF BHRT

What Are the Benefits of Hormone Replacement?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, or BHRT, may help overcome hormone deficiencies and hormone imbalances at any age. Hormone replacement therapy may benefit individuals in the pursuit of relief from the symptoms of hormone imbalance, and these hormones are administered to patients using pellets. Hormone pellets are placed in the upper buttock in an outpatient procedure, less than a week later, patients can return to their regular activities. BHRT may return hormone balance to the body and relieve symptoms.

Additional Benefits

Physical Benefits

As the body ages, it undergoes various hormonal changes that can affect health. Some of the common symptoms of hormonal imbalance include weight gain, memory decline, fatigue, and muscle loss. Bioidentical hormones may restore hormones to their optimal levels.

Mental benefits

Low levels of testosterone in men or estrogen in women can lead to lower mental capacity, low mood, and brain fog, but the bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) method from BioTE® Medical may help relieve these symptoms and possibly improve cognitive function. As we age, it can be frustrating to deal with the loss of some cognitive function, but restoring hormone balance through BHRT may help avoid these cognitive losses and maintain a sharp mind.

Emotional Benefits

There are many emotional symptoms that might indicate that someone is dealing with hormonal imbalance, including mood changes, low mood, irritability, stress, and anxiousness. Our method of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) has helped thousands of people across the U.S. improve their emotional state.
