Low Calorie Taco Salad

Summer time is here & that means more social gatherings in the horizon. Cookouts, picnics, beach trips, & the list keeps going! While it is easy to just give into the flow(& calories) of summer this can be a large obstacle in the way to reaching your weight loss goals. The more control you can have over the food served at these events the better. Whether you are the host or just bringing a dish you can always set yourself up for success. With this low calorie taco salad made from Slimlife’s Pizza Crunch/Ranch Crunch Chips & Italian Dressing it is easy to stay on plan & still enjoy yourself.

Ingredients

8oz 93% Lean Ground Beef, cooked

2 cups Iceberg Lettuce, shredded

¼ cup red or yellow bell pepper, chopped

¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped

½ cup tomatoes, diced

½ cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese

1 Package SlimLife Ranch or Pizza Crunch Chips

2 Packets SlimLife Italian Dressing 

2 tbsp Black Olives, chopped(optional)

Directions

1. Chop/Dice bell pepper, tomatoes & black olives(optional) then place in medium bowl

2. Place fully cooked ground beef & low-fat cheese in same bowl

3. Add Italian Dressing to bowl & mix till evenly coated

4. Before serving add in iceberg lettuce & SlimLife Chips 

5. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!
